Frozen in Time

I participated in a botanical casting workshop with PAA and the Institute for Advanced Study researcher Dr. Abbey Ellis at Princeton’s Morven Museum & Garden. Dr. Ellis taught me how to use traditional casting methods to preserve flowers and plants on-site. We even had the opportunity to cast some specimens from the Museum’s garden. This is a process I would like to continue to explore in the future as it combines my love for nature, history, and fine art.
